2010 success in the New Forest
The fifth Source2Sea event lived up to expectations and once
again the New Forest’s natural geography and fantastic
facilities provided a memorable setting for the challenges. Of
the 2010 event, one of the participants said, “A truly valuable
self and team development experience, thoroughly worthwhile and
an event which must be experienced to be fully appreciated.”
Once again, high praise was given to the support of each
accredited Team Performance Coach. Feedback from most
participants highlighted how their coach enabled them to step up
their individual as well as team performance throughout the
event, and how to transfer the learning back to their workplace
– and truly puts the event in a league of its own!
As the benefiting charity of Source2Sea in the last five years,
Kidscape has received over £10.5k to date, while donations to
the Marine Conservation Society total over £3.5k.
Event Director, Stephen Bentley commented "It was great to see
teams improving their performance in such a wonderful
environment, with the learning they gain being taken directly
back in the workplace. Source2sea is now clearly the premier
outdoor team development event in Europe. We are already looking
forward to 2011 when we plan to return to the New Forest". |
